OVAL
It’s round but slightly different
— more like an oval (4)
As I pondered which products would be promising and which ones I could bring to life best,
I developed an interest in the skincare and mask markets.
However, the market in Vietnam was unfamiliar and challenging to approach. The subtropical climate and the fact that most people rely on motorbikes as their main mode of transportation were major factors. Since people wear masks and helmets and sweat a lot, along with habits like applying a daily facial mask and sunscreen, skincare practices differed somewhat from those in Korea.
During this time, I began to focus on Vietnam’s rich variety of Spices.
This naturally led to growing interest in perfume within the beauty industry, and I soon realized that the fragrance market was expanding rapidly.
Not only longtime perfume users, but almost everyone was starting to take an interest in scents. This was evident in large department stores, in the everyday lives of Vietnamese people, and even in my own daily routine.
Even now, I often see many men and women purchasing perfumes as gifts or sampling different fragrances to try something new.
From that point on, I began studying perfume in earnest.
Through books and various sources, I deepened my understanding of fragrance, and by taking courses offered by a fragrance house, I was able to start seeing the bigger picture of scent.

Perfume is not just a cosmetic that smells nice —
I came to realize that it can add a special fragrance to people’s lives and play an important role in connecting one person to another.
And so, The Cors Beauty was born.
“The Cors” is not an ordinary perfume brand.
It is the result of my journey and learning. Built upon encounters with diverse people, exposure to new cultures, and inspiration drawn from genuine authenticity within, the brand continues to grow with this spirit at its core.
Reflecting all those experiences, The Cors aims to be more than just a scent —
it aspires to leave a lasting impression on people’s hearts.
Through its fragrance, it hopes to deepen the connection within people’s lives.

My life has never been a perfect circle.
But like an oval, I have carved a path within difference.
The charm of an oval lies in its harmony —
achieving completeness within imperfection.
Just as there is balance between the two focal points,
my life finds harmony between the path I have walked and the path the Lord guides me on.
Even now, I walk along that curved line of the oval, round but slightly different —
and it is that difference that makes the journey all the more special.
